“This is not only a record for the data of a specific day, but an absolute record for the entire observation period – and this is almost 190 years,” she said.
The previous record for a specific date on July 11 was recorded in 1891, and then the temperature was much lower, +33.6. And the previous absolute record was recorded on July 16, 2020, it was +39.1 degrees.
Forecasters predict that on July 12, the temperature in the region will begin to subside.
