Chairman of the Board of Zenit Alexander Medvedev said that he does not care who his team will play in the semi-finals of the RPL Path of the Russian Cup, RIA Novosti reported. The blue-white-sky blues reached the semi-finals, beating Dynamo on March 13.
Medvedev noted that “in the end, the final will be with the team from the Path of Regions.” He also believes that the fans supported the Zenit team well at the last match and “drove them forward.”
On March 15, the draw for the second final of the RPL Path will take place. In addition to Zenit, CSKA Moscow made it there. The winners of the matches “Spartak” – “Orenburg” and “Lokomotiv” – “Baltika” will also advance to the semi-finals.
