The head of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic (PMR), Vadim Krasnoselsky, said that he was concerned about the security situation.
According to him, the republic turned to the OSCE to draw attention to the preparation of sabotage groups in Moldova, which include Ukrainians. However, it was not possible to obtain any reaction from either the OSCE or Chisinau.
The PMR Ministry of Security believes that combat groups being trained in Moldova can commit sabotage and terrorist attacks on the republic’s military installations.
Krasnoselsky also noted that against the backdrop of stagnation in the negotiation process, there is a risk of conflict escalation. In addition, he announced the risk of detention of PMR officials when crossing the Moldovan border under articles of the law on separatism.
