The head of the Zaporozhye VGA spoke about volunteer battalions

The formation of volunteer battalions will begin in the liberated territories of the Zaporozhye region. This was stated by the head of the military-civilian administration of the region, Yevgeny Balitsky, in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
According to the official, the first volunteer battalion, which will be formed in the region, will have 240 people. Its fighters will undergo military training necessary to serve in the defense of their cities from Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Balitsky explains the number of the battalion in 240 people by the presence of just such a number of men who expressed a desire to participate in the defense of cities as part of volunteer formations.
Balitsky noted that such battalions are unlikely to participate directly in combat clashes, because they do not have enough military training. No one will send people to the front without military training. “We are not the Ukrainian army,” summed up the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration.
