Answering the question of the MK observer why bail is used extremely rarely (in isolated cases), the chief judge of the country noted that the suspects themselves do not often come up with the initiative to offer it. And this is due to the fact that for many the amount is unbearable.
Let me remind you that the minimum amount for grave and especially grave crimes is 500 thousand rubles. In this case, the judge usually asks for much more (several million).
However, the courts still often refuse people who are ready to offer even several tens of millions.
