In Crimea, they proposed to work out at the legislative level the issues of deferment from punishment and the release of prisoners who are ready to participate in a special military operation. Vladimir Konstantinov, chairman of the Crimean State Council, came up with this idea.

Earlier, according to the RT channel, more than a hundred former prisoners who served in the Wagner PMC returned from the war zone. The Kremlin neither confirmed nor denied this information.
