People who left Russia during a special military operation in Ukraine must be restricted in their rights, up to and including deprivation of citizenship. This opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the State Council of the Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.
“More and more actively in society and power structures, a discussion is unfolding about what should be the consequences for those who left the country, abandoned their homeland at a critical moment … In my opinion, it is necessary to restrict precisely those rights that they neglected – in civil . And we need a law that clearly stipulates the degree of loss of rights, depending on the nature of the act – up to the deprivation of citizenship. They limit themselves in these rights and duties. So let them get it, ”wrote the speaker of the republican parliament in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the main thing for the Russian authorities is not to infringe on someone’s well-being, but to restore justice.
Recall that the issue of confiscation of property from Russian citizens who do not support the SVO, left the country and criticize the actions of its authorities, was raised by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. According to him, the “scoundrels who left” feel their impunity, believing that justice cannot reach them. In this regard, he offered to supplement a number of articles of the Criminal Code with a clause on confiscation of property.
