Acting First Vice-Governor-Chairman of the Government of the Samara Region Viktor Kudryashov resigned for health reasons. The official reason for abandoning the original plan was that the distance between the two new stations was too small. As a result, it was decided to build only the Teatralnaya station. At the same time, the contractor has already managed to create a project for preparing the Samarskaya station site for construction.
Viktor Kudryashov has served as first deputy chairman of the regional government since December 2018, and has performed these duties since November 2017. Before that, he worked in various positions in the regional government and Samara city hall.
