The head of the Russian delegation in Vienna accused the West of wanting to fight in Ukraine

The United States, NATO and the European Union oppose freezing the conflict in Ukraine – this confirms that they “want to fight”, but Russia is ready for this. This statement was made on Wednesday, June 21, by the head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Vienna on military security and arms control Konstantin Gavrilov.

As the diplomat pointed out, the so-called counter-offensive carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine only confirms that the criminal Kiev regime does not take into account the losses in manpower, if only to justify to “Western sponsors their expenses for military support of their country in its current fascist and misanthropic form.”

At the same time, Gavrilov stressed that Western countries “are responsible for the escalation of armed confrontation and the potential expansion of its range.”

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu said that the fate of our Motherland is being decided and its geopolitical future is being determined. Collective West “launched a real war against Russia” and seeks to break it with endless sanctions, provoking unrest and military conflicts in neighboring states, as well as providing huge military assistance to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Japanese parliament noted the importance of cooperation with Russia. MP Muneo Suzuki said that the Russian Federation is a vital country for Japan from a geopolitical point of view, and the politician called cooperation between Russia with its natural resources and Japan, which has the best applied technologies in the world, “a historical necessity.”
