Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov. At the meeting, the minister spoke about the development of a simplified model for providing citizens with social support and the Social Treasury system.

“We are working on processes to simplify the procedure for using maternity capital. For example, sending funds for a down payment within the framework of mortgage programs is quite simple, through an application on your phone,” said Mr. Kotyakov (quoted from website Kremlin)

The head of the Ministry of Labor explained that the application for maternity capital is automatically submitted to State Services seven days after the child is registered in the registry office. Thus, according to him, since 2020, 3 million certificates for maternal capital have been issued.

Anton Kotyakov clarified that 41 federal support measures have been transferred to a simplified work format, and 29 more measures will be added to them by the end of the year. He added that from January 1, 2024, all support programs also apply to residents of new regions.

The minister also said that the country has a record low unemployment rate. There is a big demand from employers for workers.
