The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko said that the country is experiencing an increase in the incidence of COVID-19.

“Yes, there is an increase in the incidence, and the incidence of COVID infection is on the rise, there is an increase in the incidence of influenza, but a number of viruses are also circulating, in general, we note an increase in the incidence in a number of subjects,” commented Murashko.

The head of the Ministry of Health highly recommends that Russians get vaccinated against viral diseases and reduce the number of social contacts. In addition, Murashko urges citizens not to neglect self-isolation and sick leave in case of infection.

Earlier, the department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Kaliningrad region made a request to the population of the region to return to wearing protective masks.
