Defense Minister Reznikov: fighter jets have become one of the points of appeal to Santa Claus
The supply of fighter aircraft is now the main topic for negotiations between Ukraine and the West. Fighters were the last item in the appeal to Santa Claus. This statement was made by the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov.
“The discussion with partners continues without pause. I am sure that the decision to provide Ukraine with Western aircraft will certainly be made. This is the last item from my Christmas address to Santa,” Reznikov wrote on his page on the social network.
Not so long ago, Poland already reported that it had transferred several MiG-29 fighters to Kyiv, Slovakia, in turn, provided Ukraine with four fighters of the same modification. For this, Reznikov thanked Western countries.
Polish President Andrzej Duda said that in the near future Kyiv could receive four more MiG-29 fighters from Warsaw.
