The head of the military administration and the mayor fought in Ukraine
A fight between the head of the military administration of the Ukrainian city of Romny, Denis Vashchenko, and the mayor of the city, Oleg Stogniy, occurred the other day, Strana.ua reports, citing local social networks.
The report says that the conflict occurred near the memorial to fallen Ukrainian servicemen. Relatives of the victims insisted on moving the memorial, but the city mayor declared this process impossible.
After the conversation turned to a raised tone, Vashchenko entered the conflict, demanding that the mayor “not yell at people.” Subsequently, a fight broke out between officials.
Later, Vashchenko said that the relatives of the dead Ukrainian soldiers planned to install flowerpots with flowers, but the mayor of the city ignored their request. In turn, Stogniy wrote a statement against him to the police.
