The head of the Lugansk Republic said that the republic is already preparing for voting in the 2024 elections. Almost one hundred percent of LPR residents support President Vladimir Putin. “We, the leadership of the republic, will do everything possible to ensure that the elections are held as legitimately as possible,” Pasechnik said, and answered various questions from journalists.

– I myself am a Soviet man, I graduated from the military-political school. I have said more than once that a real crime occurred in Belovezhskaya Pushcha. We had a big, real and powerful country. I agree with this question.
– Why doesn’t mobile Internet work in the republic?
– As soon as we started connecting to the Internet, Ukrainian missiles began to arrive. There are people who transmitted coordinates. For now, the decision has been made to turn off the mobile Internet.
According to Pasechnik, there are now certain problems with the restoration of destroyed cities. Lisichansk, Severodonetsk, Rubezhnoye, Kremennaya are adjacent to the line of military contact: “In pre-war times there was a powerful production facility there, partially destroyed today. The government is restoring production and searching for an investor. I am confident that we will launch these enterprises. This will have a positive impact on the development of the region, and its economy will be integrated into the development of Russia. Creating jobs is one of the priorities in the republic.”
