The head of the Presidential Council for Human Rights (HRC), Valery Fadeev, proposed to synchronize the issuance of Russian passports to foreigners and their military registration. According to him, citizens “have not only rights, but also duties.”

The head of the Human Rights Council clarified that not only those liable for military service, but all men, including those with health problems, should be registered for military service. Mr. Fadeev considers it necessary to promote the maximum integration of migrants into Russian society.

“New citizens of Russia should have not only rights, but also duties. Including defending your homeland. Often they receive a passport, but forget to register with the military enlistment office. It is not right. All men should stand up for it, not only those liable for military service, ”he said at a press conference on migration legislation (his words are quoted by Telegram– SFC channel).

The FSB of Chuvashia today, August 16, reported that it had checked foreigners who received Russian citizenship and delivered to the military registration and enlistment office those who were not registered with the military.
