Crimean Governor Sergei Aksyonov supported the initiative of the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, to train volunteers in the regions. He stated that the republic has already deployed more than 1,200 volunteers and is forming two more battalions, fully providing them with equipment, means of protection, communications and intelligence.
“We must make every effort to defeat the Nazis as quickly as possible and restore peace. All regions are working in this direction,” Mr. Aksenov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Recall that earlier the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov urged all regions to conduct “self-mobilization” and send a thousand volunteers to Ukraine to participate in a special military operation. He also spokethat each region of Russia should give the “forces and means” that they have to support the military operation in Ukraine.
