The head of the Chinese government highly appreciated the prospects for cooperation with Russia

Chinese Premier Li Qiang said that trade between Russia and China has been growing rapidly since the beginning of the year and has already exceeded 40%. He said this during talks with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin, who is on a visit to Beijing.

“Sino-Russian practical cooperation has great and brilliant prospects, it is constantly and steadily moving up,” Li Qiang emphasized (quoted by TASS).

According to him, China plans to maintain contacts between the business circles of the two countries and establish their cooperation. “We intend to do everything to ensure that our agreements are implemented in practice,” Li Qiang added.

Mr Mishustin at the meeting saidthat relations between Russia and China are at an “unprecedented high level” and are “characterized by mutual respect for each other’s interests.” After the talks, the Russian prime minister is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
