As a result of negotiations between Russia and China, five documents were signed in the field of trade, medicine, sports and intellectual property. About it reported in the Russian government.
The memorandum on deepening investment cooperation in the sphere of trade in services was signed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
The Rosselkhoznadzor and the Main Customs Administration secured the agreements with protocols on phytosanitary requirements for grain and plant materials exported from Russia for the medical region of China.
Russia and China have agreed on cooperation in the field of sports. The corresponding memorandum was signed by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Main State Administration for Physical Culture and Sports of China. The parties also made a joint statement about their plans to extend the pilot program “Accelerated Patent Proceedings”, which is supervised by Rospatent and the State Administration of the People’s Republic of China for Intellectual Property.
“The most important component of our cooperation is interregional ties. Most regions of Russia and provinces of China are participating in joint projects. This is important for creating new points of economic growth and improving the well-being of people,” said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
On May 22, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived on his first official visit to China. During his working visit, he has already taken part in a meeting of the Russian-Chinese business forum in Shanghai, and also met with the president of the BRICS New Development Bank and representatives of Russian business circles.
On May 24, Mishustin arrived in Beijing, where Russian-Chinese talks were held in an expanded format with the participation of Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang. A meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping was also announced.
