Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree conferring the rank of Major General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Chechnya’s Parliament Chairman Magomed Daudov. This was announced by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

“President of Russia Vladimir Putin, by his decree, awarded … Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic Magomed Daudov the rank of Major General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in Telegram channel.

According to the head of Chechnya, in addition to “fruitful activity” in parliament, Magomed Daudov “competently and efficiently” oversees the work of the local headquarters for the military operation in Ukraine. “In addition to a wide range of issues aimed at providing military personnel and security forces from the Chechen Republic with the necessary uniforms, ammunition, equipment, the headquarters is also responsible for the training and dispatch of volunteers. Thanks to this, a great contribution is made to our common victory,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote.

Magomed Daudov worked in the security service of the first president of Chechnya, Akhmat Kadyrov. In addition, he commanded a police battalion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was the chief of staff of the Chechen OMON and the head of the internal affairs department of the Shali district.
