On January 1, an athletics race will traditionally be held in the gas capital at the Viaduct site. The head of the city from his pages on social networks called on northerners to join the event.
“Well? Let’s start the year in a sporty way? For the fifth time, the most resilient will gather in the cold on the first day of the year. Anniversary, it turns out,” the mayor suggests.
He urged those wishing to take part in the race not to be late – it starts at noon.
The New Year’s sports event will take place in other Russian cities at the same time. For example, in Caucasian Mineral Waters, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Omsk region, Moscow, Tyumen and Nadym. At the finish line everyone will receive a participation medal.
