In Mordovia, on behalf of the head of the region, Artem Zdunov, the purchase of a foreign car for the needs of officials has been canceled. The head of the republic announced this in his Telegram channel.
“Once again I remind you of the instruction given by the President of the Russian Federation on the acquisition of vehicles of domestic production,” wrote Mr. Zdunov. He did not say which agency was “caught” in the purchase of a foreign car.
He reminded all heads of subordinate institutions, organizations with state participation of personal responsibility for the purchase of foreign cars.
As “b” wrote, in early August, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that all officials in the country should drive domestic cars. “All of our wonderful officials should understand that we need to strive for the development of domestic brands, domestic cars and other domestic products,” the Russian president noted.
