The head of Kizilyurt Magomedov was arrested in an embezzlement case

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow supported the investigation’s request and decided to place the head of the city of Kizilyurt, ex-Minister of Sports of Dagestan Magomed Magomedov, in a pre-trial detention center. Earlier it was reported that the official was detained as part of a criminal case of embezzlement.
According to the court decision, Magomedov will be under arrest until December 2.
At the request of the investigation, the meeting was held behind closed doors.
Earlier it became known that in Kizilyurt after the arrest of the mayor canceled celebration of the 60th anniversary of the city.
