The head of intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine expressed a desire to transfer the fighting to the territory of the Russian Federation

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, announced the desire of Kyiv to transfer all hostilities to the territory of Russia. He stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channel “1 + 1”.

“The war must be transferred to another territory, which, it is clear to us, is Russia and other territories where their influence is located, in order to stretch them. The wider the operations, the better,” he said (quote according to RIA Novosti).

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky informedthat Kyiv does not have a goal to transfer the conflict to the territory of Russia.

On August 28, Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that the West supports Kyiv in “destroying everything Russian,” including in Crimea. After that, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev informedthat such statements indicate the approach of the predictions of the Apocalypse. According to him, the consent of the West to strikes on the Crimea is “direct legally significant evidence of complicity of the West in the war against Russia.” At the same time, Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov then notedthat the West is aware of the danger of involvement in the conflict and the inevitability of the costs of it.
