Slovak President Zuzana Caputova signed a decree temporarily suspending intelligence chief Michal Alac, against whom police have filed a number of charges. This is reported by the portal pravda.sk.
As the presidential press secretary Martin Strizhynets admitted, Alach’s stay in the civil service was a threat to her interests.
According to law enforcers, intelligence chief Alach was a member of a criminal group led by a Slovak businessman with connections in this special service. It is assumed that its purpose was to influence the course of criminal investigations.
