FSB announced the arrest of the head of the Odessa railway in the case of sabotage

FSB officers detained one of the leaders of the Odessa railway in the case of sabotage at the Kherson railway station, as a result of which the supply of Russian troops was temporarily stopped. This was reported in the press service of the FSB in the Kherson region, transmits TASS.
The detainee was a citizen of Ukraine born in 1961. According to investigators, in February 2022, he planned and damaged turnouts at the Kherson railway station.
A criminal case was initiated against the man on the fact of organizing sabotage (Article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum punishment under this article provides for imprisonment for up to 20 years.
Cases of interference with the work of the railway became more frequent after the start of a special operation in Ukraine. Earlier, the start of train movement with a delay due to the burning of relay cabinets was reported on August 21. Then in the press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD) reportedthat two unknown people set fire to the relay cabinets at the Solnechnaya station.
