Hutsul: Gagauzia will take measures against the possible unification of Romania with Moldova
The head of Gagauzia, Evgenia Gutsul, said that the Gagauz autonomy wants to remain part of Moldova. In the event that the country’s authorities decide to unite with Romania, Gagauzia will “take appropriate measures.”
Let us recall that earlier Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said that he supports the idea of unification with Moldova. According to him, unification can occur, among other things, through the republic’s accession to the European Union
“We want to live in the independent Republic of Moldova, so we will take appropriate measures if the Republic of Moldova moves towards rapprochement with Romania,” Gutsul noted.
