The head of Buryatia took first place in the Practical Shooting Cup

December 24 The 1st Cup of the Russian Union of Martial Arts in practical shooting was held at the Regional Martial Arts Center “Patriot” in Ulan-Ude. The cup was dedicated to the Day of Russian Security Bodies, which took place the other day, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Buryatia reports.

Competitions were held in the disciplines “pneumatic carbine” and “pneumatic pistol”. 198 participants and 49 teams took part in the competition, including young athletes, representatives of sports federations and federal executive bodies, members of the republican government, deputies, law enforcement agencies, banks and other organizations.

The results were divided into categories of participants – for example, in the team standings in one of the categories, the team of the Tunkinsky National Park was in the lead, and in the individual standings in the “Government” category, the head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, won.

According to the Minister of Sports and Youth Policy of Buryatia Ivan Kozyrev, this is the first such large-scale event that brought together all the skills in the necessary and powerful sport – practical shooting.

– I want to express special words of gratitude to our regional branch of the Russian Union of Martial Arts, to all ministries and departments that responded and supported. Today we see a huge number of people and organizations here, – Ivan Kozyrev said at the opening of the cup. – All as one stood in line and are ready to perform with fire in their eyes.
