The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and received a positive test for coronavirus. In connection with this, the head of the region went into self-isolation mode, the head’s press service told Kommersant, without specifying the duration of his quarantine.
Yesterday, October 8, Radiy Khabirov held a meeting of the Council on Interethnic Relations, at which he presented the Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, Talgat Tadzhuddin, with the gratitude of the President of Russia and the Order of Grigory Aksakov.
On October 7, Mr. Khabirov held an operational meeting with the government, where he announced that he plans to leave for Kazakhstan on Thursday. The official delegation was supposed to take part in the Russian-Kazakh forum, hold a number of meetings and update work in Kazakhstan.
