Albert Loginov was replaced as coach by Alexey Medvedev. This became known on March 29.

Together with head coach Albert Loginov, senior coach Sergei Dushkin left the Voronezh club. In the official public page, “the Hurricanes thanked their mentors: “We thank the specialists for their work and wish them further success in their careers.”

In the new season of the All-Russian Hockey League championship, “Buran” will be headed by Alexey Medvedev.

The updated coaching staff of the hockey club is fully staffed:

  • forwards coach – Evgeniy Safronov,
  • defensive coach – Filip Metlyuk,
  • goalkeeper coach – Vyacheslav Sedov,
  • physical training coach – Alexander Buinitsky.

The new 42-year-old coach of “Buran” is a graduate of Penza hockey, in the past Alexey Medvedev is the central forward of “Dizelist”, “Severstal”, “Lipetsk”, “Energia”, “Dynamo”, “Ugra” and other teams. With Salavat Yulaev he won the Russian Championship in 2008 and became the KHL bronze medalist in 2010. Before Buran, he coached Novokuznetsk Metallurg.
