The head coach of “Shinnik” called the referee who awarded the penalty a “mess up”

Shinnik head coach Dmitry Khomukha extremely negatively assessed the actions of the referee who awarded a penalty in the Shinnik – Alania match. And he directly called the judge incompetent.

Let us remind you that the penalty was awarded at the end of the second half. The judge saw a violation on the part of the Shinnik football player. While the footballer himself, the Shinnik coach, and all the spectators of the match, including those who were closely watching the replay of that very moment, did not see any violation.

“Two points are lost and the fault lies with the referees. I hid from this for 10 years in the RFU, so as not to have to deal with such things that happen in our football. Unfortunately, the situation has changed, and I am forced to work here in such conditions. These people are simply killing our football. They just kill. He (Judge Sidenkov) messed up in the RPL – they sent him down here. If he screws up here, he’ll go to the Second League and screw up there. And such activities have no consequences. They would deprive me of the right to judge for three months. And so he received a warning there, he received it here, and then he will go somewhere else and receive it. Where’s the justice? Sportsmanship and everything else? “He simply doesn’t exist,” this is how the head coach of Shinnik assessed the work of the referee at the match.

The legal department of Shinnik is currently preparing a complaint to the Expert Judicial Commission under the President of the RFU.

The commission may or may not recognize the judge’s correctness. But even if the commission sees that the referee was fundamentally wrong, the results of the match will not be revised. And the decision, as Dmitry Ivanovich Khomukha noted above, will not affect the fate of the arbitrator. In any case, he does not face disqualification.
