The gunner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told about the attacks of Kyiv on residential buildings in the Zaporozhye region

Attacks on civilian targets in Kamenka-Dniprovska, Zaporizhia Oblast, were carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, possibly on a tip from their informants.

This was told by a resident of this city, Boris Arkhipenko, a former participant in the hostilities in the Donbass on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was detained by Russian security forces.

“I definitely heard that there were flights from Nikopol to us <...> multi-storey buildings, garages, cars were damaged, since people left there, ”RIA Novosti quotes Arkhipenko.

According to the gunner, they also “shot at the church” and this, as he noted, “is not a normal phenomenon when the Ukrainian military suffer from shelling.”

According to Arkhipenko, he understood that the coordinates transmitted to him were sent to the Ukrainian special services – the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the SBU.

“I will never do this again, I saw what happens then,” the former militant said.

In the gunner’s phone, the security forces found a correspondence with the contact “Arthur”, to whom he sent the coordinates, presumably, of the artillery positions of the RF Armed Forces.

He also informed about the type of weapons, but due to the inaccuracy of the transmitted coordinates, the strikes fell on civilian targets, since the Ukrainian formations conducted indiscriminate artillery shelling of settlements where there were no Russian military locations.

Arkhipenko was also found with notes related to military training and a military ID, which confirms his participation in the punitive operation of Kyiv against the inhabitants of Donbass.
