The Guardian: Leak about Zelensky’s visit to Brussels quarreled EU leaders

Information that got into the media about a possible visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Brussels amid fears for his safety caused mutual accusations among EU officials.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian leader on January 9 should fly to meet with the heads of the European Union at the summit and address the European Parliament at an extraordinary session.
Prior to that, since the beginning of the NWO, he had left the country only once for a visit to the United States. The trip was prepared in the strictest secrecy, although on the eve of the visit, the press nevertheless leaked its details.
In about 48 hours, information about Zelensky’s trip to Brussels became public after publications in the Italian media. Representatives of the European People’s Party (EPP) also announced this on social networks, but quickly deleted the welcome post.
European Council President Charles Michel blamed the European Parliament for the leak. His spokesman did not deny the possibility of Zelensky’s visit. The scandal has left MEP President Roberta Metsola, who is also a member of the EPP, in a difficult position.
Zelensky himself rejected any trips abroad last week, explaining this as a big risk.
Rival EU institutions are fighting for the right to be the first to show support for Zelensky, the newspaper noted ironically The Guardian. Some enthusiastically talk about the prospects for Ukraine’s entry into the EU. But many member states of the community believe that public rhetoric should be toned down so as not to raise Kyiv’s false hopes of quick accession.
