The growth of industrial production in Russia in September accelerated to 5.6% (in August – 5.4%), as follows from the data published today, October 25. data Rosstat. In the raw materials sector, coal mining continued to grow in September – 2.1% more than in September 2022; non-metallic minerals production decreased by 5.7%. The volume of production of metal ores decreased by 1.7%, the volume of production of other minerals, including stone, crushed stone and sand, decreased by 5.7%. Growth in passenger car production accelerated 2.7 times last month compared to September 2022.
According to Rosstat materials, in the manufacturing sector in September, compared to the same period in 2022, the highest growth rates were achieved in the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (by 56.3%), finished metal products (by 47.5%), and others. vehicles, including shipbuilding and aircraft production (by 45.8%). There is also an increase in the production of furniture (38.6%) and the production of computers, optical and electronic products (33.5%). The production of tobacco products decreased by 18% compared to September last year.
