On Saturday, September 16, the annual Grand Slam rowing marathon will take place in Tula. The competition will include siyaks, kayaks and saps.
The start and finish will take place on the city embankment of the Upa River. Athletes are offered two distances: 22 kilometers and 45 kilometers. Participants will have to walk along the river, make a “loop” under the bridge on Doctor Gumilevskaya Street and reach the finish line.
A tent camp has been organized near the start, where participants can be accommodated as early as Friday. Detailed information is available in the official Grand Slam group.
