The date of the opening of the Ice Palace “VologdaArena” was announced on his page in the social network by the governor of the region Oleg Kuvshinnikov. The solemn launch of the facility will take place on February 17, and the next day mass skating will begin.
According to Oleg Alexandrovich, the constructed Ice Palace is ultra-modern, so it will be possible to hold competitions and tournaments of different levels.
The governor also noted that the Golden Puck sports complex, which is being built very close to the Vologda Arena, is already half ready. Thanks to this facility, a professional climbing wall and a curling area will appear in the regional capital for the first time. In addition, the construction of a modular sports complex is underway nearby, where Vologda residents will also engage in various sports.
All facilities will be built by the end of 2023. According to the governor, it will be one of the best sports complexes in Russia.
