The governor reported shelling of a border village in the Kursk region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shelled the border village of Tetkino, Kursk region, reported regional governor Roman Starovoit in his Telegram channel.

“This afternoon the village of Tetkino was shelled from the Ukrainian side. None of the residents were injured. The power line is damaged, there is partially no electricity in the village,” he wrote.

One of the houses was also damaged due to shrapnel, the authorities will provide assistance in repairs, the governor added.

Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk regions and some other regions. In addition, in these regions of Russia, the “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat is in effect indefinitely.

Earlier in mid-October, three villages and a settlement in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region remained without electricity after shelling from Ukraine, Starovoit reported. On October 13, during shelling from Ukraine in the village of Kozino, Rylsky district, a school building was damaged.
