In the Tula region they may begin to provide free ownership of land plots or a one-time cash payment. The regional governor, Alexey Dyumin, submitted a corresponding bill to the regional Duma.
According to the document, military personnel, volunteers and employees of the Russian Guard who have special ranks, awarded Orders of the Russian Federation for merit shown during a special military operation, and who are also combat veterans will have the right to this measure of support. In addition, this measure of support will be extended to Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation and full holders of the Order of Glory.
The bill notes that the above categories of citizens will be able to choose between a plot of land or a payment of 200 thousand rubles. In the event of the death of the awardee, members of their families – spouse, children, parents – will receive the specified amount.
It is clarified that the land will be provided within the boundaries of the municipality at the place of permanent residence in the region or at the place of stay. If there are no plots within the Moscow Region, then it will be provided in a neighboring area.
The maximum area of the provided plot is 15 acres, the minimum is ten.
Previously, the working group sent to the President of the Russian Federation report with further proposals on measures to support SBO participants and members of their families. In particular, they are aimed at equalizing benefits for those who have entered into a contract for military service and for volunteers.
