A village in the Yakovlevsky urban district came under fire from the Ukrainian military, wrote Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the civilian population. The fragments of the projectile damaged the power line. Emergency crews are already on the scene to deal with the consequences. The door-to-door bypass of the territory is continued by all operational services, ”he wrote.
December 6 head of the region informed about the shelling of the village of Butyrka. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Damage was recorded in four private households: windows were broken and fences were cut.
Gladkov earlier informed on the formation of territorial defense detachments. According to him, they can include those who “due to health reasons or within the limits of age cannot be called up by the Armed Forces, but have combat experience and a great desire, if necessary, to defend their home and their families.”
On October 19, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree introducing a “medium response” regime in eight border regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions (some of which were under shelling from Ukraine).
