Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako will meet with the leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un on September 17. Kozhemyako himself reported this.
“Kim Jong-un again arrived in our region as part of a major visit to Russia. <...> A busy visit program lies ahead. We will definitely discuss a wide range of issues. In particular, the prospects for friendly exchanges between school groups for recreational recreation,” – wrote he is on his Telegram channel.
How clarified Governor, negotiations will take place tomorrow. During the meeting, it is planned to discuss trade, sports, tourism and culture. He added that “everyone is interested in ensuring that these relations are developed at a high level.”
The North Korean leader has been in Russia since September 12. Previously, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and the leader of the DPRK arrived to the frigate of the Pacific Fleet “Marshal Shaposhnikov” in Vladivostok, the press service of the Russian defense department reported.
On September 13, negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un took place at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. Putin declaredthat the DPRK leader is showing great interest in rocket technology, as North Korea seeks to develop the technologies necessary for space exploration. Later, Roscosmos General Director Yuri Borisov said that the Russian side was ready to prepare and organize the flight of an astronaut from the DPRK.
