The governor of Kuzbass forbade the mobilized to leave the unit after a fight

The governor of the Kemerovo region, Sergei Tsivilev, during a visit to the training center in Yurga, confirmed the information about the fight among the mobilized. The video of the incident appeared at the end of October. Sergei Tsivilev announced the introduction of a ban on leaving the military unit in order to avoid such cases.

“Unfortunately, there are cases of military personnel leaving the territory of the garrison. They arrive in the city of Yurga, buy alcoholic beverages, there are isolated cases. My decision is a complete ban on leaving the territory of the military unit. Every minute, our military personnel must prepare for the performance of their military duty, ”Sergey Tsivilev said in a video published in his Telegram channel. He added that it is possible to leave the military unit only in case of emergency or the arrival of relatives.

Commenting on the fight on the territory of the base of the 74th separate motorized rifle brigade, Mr. Tsivilev said that he had met with the mobilized people who participated in the incident. He said that the military “sorted out the behavior of everyone.” “Today they gave the word to the entire officer corps that this story will never repeat itself and there will be no violation of military order,” the governor said.

Now, Mr. Tsivilev said, he, as the head of headquarters, will be reported on every violator of military discipline on a daily basis. The governor plans to convene the officers and relatives of the violator in order to “analyze the behavior of the serviceman.” At the same time, the violator himself will not be present at these meetings. Why the military will not be invited to meetings – the governor did not explain.
