On February 5, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at the border village of Gornal in the Kursk region, Governor of the region Roman Starovoit said on his Telegram channel.

“On Sunday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the border village of Gornal, Sudzhansky district. Most importantly, there were no casualties.” wrote He.

According to the authorities of the region, as a result of the shelling, the power line to the water tower was interrupted, a car was damaged, and windows were broken in one of the houses.

On February 3, the Governor of Kursk reported on the shelling of the border village of Nikolaevo-Daryino in the Sudzhansky district by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Starovoit specified that there were five visits to the warehouses of the granary of one of the agricultural enterprises. No one was hurt during the shelling, but the buildings were damaged.

On the same day in the region was indefinitely installed “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat. A similar decision was made by the authorities of the Crimea, Belgorod and Bryansk regions.

On January 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin lifted the time limit for introducing terrorist threat levels in Russian regions. Previously, the level of terrorist threat could be set for a period of no more than 15 days, now the decision to introduce a threat level becomes indefinite and is valid until it is canceled.

There are three levels of terrorist danger: “blue” (increased), “yellow” (high) and “red” (critical).
