The armed forces of Ukraine dropped two grenades on the territory of the mill in the village of Tetkino, Kursk region, no one was injured, informed Governor of the region Roman Starovoit.
“This morning in Tetkino, the Armed Forces of Ukraine dropped two grenades on the territory of the mill. Fortunately, there were no casualties or significant damage,” Starovoit wrote on his Telegram channel.
After the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian military began to regularly shell the border regions of Russia. On October 19, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response was introduced in eight border regions, including Crimea, Sevastopol, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
In addition, the Kursk region has a “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat, this week the authorities of the region extended this regime until February 4.
The last time the border region came under fire was on December 29: a mortar attack have undergone the village of Guevo, Sudzhansky district, and the village of Tetkino, Glushkovsky. As Starovoit clarified, six houses were damaged in Tetkino, one of which was seriously destroyed “from a direct hit.”
