The government will establish additional payments for doctors up to 18.5 thousand rubles a month

Depending on the position, medical workers in Russia from 2023 will be able to qualify for monthly allowances ranging from 4 thousand to 18.5 thousand rubles. The largest additional payments, as explained by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova, are expected by doctors of district hospitals.

“Physicians in central district and district hospitals will receive a monthly allowance of 18.5 thousand rubles… Primary care doctors… 14.5 thousand rubles… emergency physicians — 11.5 thousand rubles. Primary care doctors … 14.5 thousand rubles, and emergency doctors – 11.5 thousand rubles … nursing staff of central district and district hospitals … 8 thousand rubles … nursing staff of primary care … 6.5 thousand .rubles … paramedics and emergency nurses – 7 thousand rubles … junior medical staff of the central district primary care hospitals – 4 thousand rubles, ”Ms. Golikova told reporters (quoted by TASS).

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, 379,000 people will be able to receive additional payments. The budget for these purposes includes 152.4 billion rubles.

In October, the Action Medicine service conducted a survey of health workers, the results of which showedthat more than 70% of respondents faced the problem of a shortage of workers in their institutions even before the announcement of partial mobilization. Staffing of medical institutions is called one of the main goals of government initiatives in the field of healthcare.
