The government will allocate another 100 billion rubles to strengthen the economy

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin informedthat the government will allocate additional funds to key sectors of the economy.

Financing will receive:

Aviation industry:

  • 15 billion rubles to expand the production of MS-21 aircraft,
  • 25 billion rubles to support the air traffic management system.

Shipping:

  • 15 billion rubles — for the program of preferential leasing of sea vessels,
  • 3 billion rubles will receive the Vyborg Shipyard.

Industry:

  • The Industrial Development Fund will be recapitalized by 8 billion rubles,
  • 4 billion rubles — programs in the field of small- and medium-tonnage chemistry,
  • 2 billion rubles for the development of equipment for the production of LNG.

Another 5.5 billion rubles. will be allocated to support investment projects and create new jobs in the Kaliningrad region.

Mikhail Mishustin also said that the government will continue to stimulate the development of the Far Eastern regions. According to him, by the end of 2022, the developers of the Far Eastern Quarter project will be selected, according to which the government is going to carry out complex development in the cities of the Far East.

“It is important not only to create profitable enterprises, but also to do everything necessary for people to connect their future with the Far East. And for this, of course, they must be provided with stable work, high-quality social infrastructure and good housing,” Mr. Mishustin said.

On September 2, the government announced that it had decided to extend the 37 anti-crisis measures taken in the spring after the imposition of sanctions against Russia. Recall that in total the anti-crisis plan includes about 300 measures to support various sectors of the Russian economy.
