Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the government will send a grant of 70 billion rubles to the Krug Dobra fund. to support families with severe illnesses. According to the Prime Minister, if necessary, this money can be used to help children who are outside of Russia.

“The government will allocate a grant of almost 70 billion rubles to the fund. These funds will continue to provide children with medical care, if necessary – outside the Russian Federation, as well as the necessary medicines, medical devices, technical means of rehabilitation,” said Mr. Mishustin at a government meeting.

The Circle of Kindness Foundation was established in 2021. It is financed by increasing the tax rate on personal income – from 13% to 15% on earnings over 5 million rubles. in year. On December 15, President Vladimir Putin announced that the list of diseases treated at the expense of the Circle of Kindness charity fund would be expanded. The age limit for the fund’s wards will also be increased from 18 to 19 years.

In October, the State Duma passed the first reading of a bill, the adoption of which will allow the wards of the 14 High-Cost Nosologies program under the age of 18 to receive expensive drugs at the expense of the Circle of Kindness fund. This program treats 15,000 children with rare diseases. The cost of their treatment now amounts to 20 billion rubles.
