The Government of the Russian Federation has set a living wage in new regions for 2023

The Russian government has published a decree establishing the subsistence minimum in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions for 2023. The corresponding document is published on the official Internet portal legal information.

“Taking into account this, the subsistence minimum for 2023 in the DPR and LPR per capita will be 11,213 rubles, for the able-bodied population – 12,222 rubles, for pensioners – 9,643 rubles, for children – 10,877 rubles, and for the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions – 11 644 rubles, for the able-bodied population – 12,692 rubles, pensioners – 10,014 rubles, children – 11,295 rubles. press office Ministry of Labor with reference to the government decree.

The Cabinet also determined the procedure for establishing living wages in the Russian Federation for the annexed regions. In Russia, regional differentiation coefficients are used for this, which are multiplied by the subsistence minimum established for the entire country, the ministry explained.

For the DPR and LPR, the coefficient in 2023 will be 0.78, for the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions – 0.81. The following year, the government decided to increase these figures: for the people’s republics – up to 0.94, and for the regions – up to 0.97.

The subsistence minimum in 2023 per capita in Russia is set at 14,375 rubles, for the able-bodied population – 15,669 rubles, for pensioners – 12,363 rubles, for children – 13,944 rubles.
