“Over the past year, seven such zones have been created in Russia, two have been expanded. In total, 49 special economic zones are already operating in the country with a total investment under agreements in the amount of 1.8 trillion rubles, of which 822 billion rubles. already implemented. With the approval of the Nyagan SEZ, there will be 50 of them,” said Yury Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD).

The area of ​​the SEZ in Yugra will be 273 hectares, the volume of investments by anchor residents will be about 25 billion rubles. It is planned to create 800 jobs. SEZ residents will become companies from the fields of gas processing, oilfield services, production of reinforced concrete products, timber processing. As Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Vakhrukov said, the bioprotein SEZ project is one of the key areas in general for expanding gas processing in the domestic market.

Previously reportedthat it is planned to create the infrastructure of the SEZ and bring the first residents to the site in 2023–2024. 2.5 billion rubles were allocated for infrastructure preparation. in a five-year perspective of their development. The revenue of residents of the first SEZ in Yugra by 2032 is expected to reach 130 billion rubles.

Recall, this year the government of the Russian Federation approved the creation of a new SEZ in Perm, which will be of an industrial production type. Resident companies will implement projects in the field of petrochemistry, mechanical engineering, metalworking, information technology and other areas.
