The government is finishing work on the national project “Machine Tool Building”

The Government of the Russian Federation is close to approving a new national project “Machine Tool Building” in the near future. This was stated by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government Sergey Morozov at conferences “Industrial transition: restructuring of the economy”, which is carried out by the publishing house “Kommersant”.

“We are close to the fact that the government of the Russian Federation, together with the Federal Assembly, will soon approve the national project “Machine Tool Building”,” Mr. Morozov said.

According to him, the deputies “managed to convince colleagues from the Ministry of Finance” that this decision was supported. “Different amounts are said, from 300 billion to 500 billion rubles. Negotiations with the government confirmed that such a political and legal decision had taken place. Representatives of the machine tool and machine tool industries are looking forward to this decision. I sincerely hope that it will be already in April,” said Sergey Morozov.

Recall that 13 national projects are currently being implemented in Russia (“Healthcare”, “Education”, “Demography”, “Culture”, “Safe High-Quality Roads”, “Housing and Urban Environment”, “Ecology”, “Science and Universities”, “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”, “Labor Productivity”, “International Cooperation and Export”, “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”), as well as the Comprehensive Plan for the Modernization and Expansion of the Main Infrastructure.
