The government has simplified the procedure for issuing a fan card (FAN ID) for children under 14, the disabled and pensioners, said press office cabinet. In March, optimize the procedure instructed Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the document, from May 26, 2023, the identification of children under 14 years old will take place remotely – if the data about them is in the parent’s account on the State Services, the card will be issued automatically. Disabled people will be able to issue fan cards as part of the submission of group applications by clubs of the Russian Football Premier League. For pensioners (and the disabled), the government recommends that the regions place separate windows at each RPL stadium to obtain a FAN ID without a queue.
The Fan ID law came into force on July 1, 2022, and has been extended to all Premier League matches since December. Against the background of the introduction of the system, starting from the spring part of the RPL tournament, the number of spectators in the stands decreased.
