The Russian government has created university venture funds with an investment volume of 3.5 billion rubles. This measure was taken to support student startups, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

He said that the fund is designed for such areas as robotics, microelectronics, biotechnology, medicine, and artificial intelligence. “It is important that a student startup has a clear path for further development,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized (quoted by TASS).

In January, at a profile strategic session led by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on January 10, they considered the development strategy of Bauman MSTU until 2030. According to the document, the transformation of the training of engineering personnel for technological sovereignty involves a transition to the creation of ready-made engineering teams for the industry in universities. The need for changes in training in the White House was explained by the need for reverse engineering, development and operation of fundamentally new technologies in the Russian Federation.
